Are the fillers edible?

They are non-toxic but are not intended for consumption. If your little explorer puts them in their mouth, don’t panic, it shouldn’t hurt them. We are currently working to make the fillers completely food grade. Stay tuned!

How messy is sensory play?

Sensory play can include as much or as little mess as you would allow. Our kits can be categorized as “dry play” meaning that the materials are dry and can be easily swept up. Messy Mats are also available to make clean up even easier!

What are the benefits of sensory play?

Sensory play naturally encourages brain development and cognitive growth through sensory integration. Child learn to self regulate, strengthen hand muscles to improve fine motor skills all while playing. Scooping, pouring, and using tongs, all refine the fine motor skills needed before children begin to write.
